Graveyard in clouds?

You will be surprised to know that there are over 200 corpses lay embedded on the ice on Mount Everest. These are climbers who lost their life while attempting to reach the peak. The picture on the left shows the number of corpses at various zones on everest.Unfortunately, no one took efforts to bring these climbers who lost their life to the base. Today these corpses are used as way points for climbers. Very sad.

TDC?

If you find the initials “TDC” while observing the moon’s surface, don’t be surprised. The last man to walk on the moon, Gener Cernan, promised his daughter that he would write her initials on the moon. He did and her initials, “TDC”, is remaining on the moon.

Have you seen snow?

If you have not, nothing to worry. An analyst report says that at least 2/3rds of the people (or at least 46%) on Earth have never seen snow. It is not a big deal and in fact you are lucky. Only flurry (light snow) is good to watch. Any other form is a big nuisance and dangerous. Be happy that you do not have to shovel in extreme cold.

Could this mean free houses?

There are more empty houses than homeless people in United States. Based on a study there are approximately 18.5 million vacant homes in the country (held by Banking institution) while there are only 3.5 million homeless citizens. Can anything be done?

Chug, Chug, Chug!

A recent study shows that an average American drinks approximately 45 gallons of soda per year which translates approximately to 700 8oz cans in a year, 13 8oz cans in a week, 2 8oz cans in a day. Each 8oz soda contains 26g of sugar which is equivalent to 6.5 sugar packets and 100 calories. This means an average american consumes 4550 sugar packets and 68250 calories which requires 455 hours of treadmill time to shed off. Now, talk about Obesity!
